Baggage too ...

Romans 1:20

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes—

His eternal power and divine nature— have been clearly seen,

because they are understood through what has been made.

So people are without excuse.

Baggage

Why should it be time to go if no luggage has been packed?

Many I know have enough baggage accumulated from times gone by

Although they are empty-handed and convinced by the world they sacked

All they do is drag their excuses on their way being prepared to die

“The devil made me do it”, their simple battle cry

The flesh that You gave me acted like a sword

You should have made me different, it’s not my fault

Finally there is harmony as they point fingers to the Lord

Every knee now bowed and no one wonders: “why”?

Some are here present as they came from the Heaven’s shore

Pure and white in appearance with peace written in their faces

Living examples of perfection empowered by the Lord

Now there is only silence then soft music starts playing

Out of the darkness fainted cries behind a closed door

Is this now the end of things or a gracious new beginning?

As Eternity’s Heavenly door seems open forever more

Written in the hearts of man at the moment of conception

Was the opportunity to recognize; ‘The state of being weak?’

Natural Grace brought conscience and with it the perception

That disobedience to the Lord of All kept us from being free
