When you came into this world
I was so proud to call you mine
You were so beautiful
And one of a kind.
 

You had my eyes
And your daddy's nose
You were so perfect
All ten fingers and ten toes.
 

I would hold you in my arms
Whenever you would cry
I'd feed you when you were hungry
And made sure you were always dry.
 

When you said your first word
It put a smile on my face
And when you started walking
I chased you all over the place.
 

Even though you are almost three
You will always be mommy's baby boy
You made my life more complete
And you filled my heart with joy.
