Baby Bear Was a Baby No More

Once upon a time...there were three bears. Yeah, I bet you think you know where I'm headed with this story.

I can assure you, it's not what you think.

Once upon a time, there were three bears who were living the life out in the deep forest.

Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Teen Bear. When Teen Bear was better known as Baby Bear, his Mama would always tell him the true story of Goldilocks and how she broke into their house to steal their porridge that she had worked so hard to make. Baby Bear always told Mama Bear that he couldn't remember this incident, even though the truth was he really, really remembered. You see, Baby Bear/Teen Bear felt guilty about remembering this incident. Mama always talked bad about Goldilocks, but the truth was, Baby Bear/Teen Bear couldn't stop thinking about Goldilocks. He had had a huge crush on Goldilocks ever since she broke in to the house. All he could think about all these years was the memory he had of her long, blonde, flowing hair and her perfect, glowing skin with her beautiful pink dress that fit just right.

Of course, he could never tell Mama how he felt about Goldilocks because she was treated as an evil villain around that house of theirs. If Mama knew he had been crushing on her ever since, she would never forgive him! Not to mention the fact that Teen Bear followed Goldilocks on all accounts of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, you name it, Goldi was on it). Oh yeah, she didn't like to be called Goldilocks anymore. Everyone just calls her Goldi now.

One day, Teen Bear decided to message Goldi to see if she would respond. To his surprise, after spending hours pondering what he would say to her, she finally responded. Teen Bear asked how Goldi had been and apologized for his family's ridiculous behavior. He offered to get her coffee as a form of apology. To his surprise she accepted the offer!

The day of the date finally arrived. Teen Bear told Mama that he was staying after school for a study date. He was only half lying to her. Better than totally lying, right? They met up at the most hip coffee shop in the woods. It was called "The Woods" afterall. How hipster. Anyways, the date went much better than Teen Bear and even Goldi herself anticipated. They talked about their lives, and of course made endless jokes about the incident. Teen Bear thought he even felt a romantic connection.

By the end of the date, they exchanged phone numbers and have been texting ever since. Things between them were going great, that was until Mama Bear picked up Teen Bear's phone while it was ringing one night. I bet you'll never guess whose name Mama Bear saw on that incoming call phone screen...
