Away

Brightness eludes my ceiling from the dark room,

Carrying shadows of one’s loneliness

We apologize for our burdens of trauma and deep injuries

But the receiver just passes along

There are some people who just end up lonely in the end

From gashes if ‘accidents’ to scars of the weak hearted

We try to keep ones company,

But push them farther away

Me
Our world
