The Awakening

There's a break--a bright day near

Remain open, don't shut your eyes

It seems far; the light tries to run

One day we'll catch

This journey is far from over\

We traveled through dirt, through water--peril we hiked

Climbing with every limb; ouch here, ouch there

Walked the cracked road; the North up ahead

We leave our footprints

One day, our prints will speak

For there is fear up ahead

Let's not fight--don't be blind

The sun lies there...with its shining glory

Soon, love will find us.

Wrapped in Peace;

It will feel eternal.

Though the light seem far to grasp

Run until unable

One day, we'll catch up

For soon, we'll awaken.
