Average Girl

I'm an average girl,

in a fast paced world.

Life has pressure,

a major stressor.

School will melt my brain

and make us all the same.

No imagination,

 life has no creation!

I have fear and self-doubt

that I'll never amount

to run fast

 to teach school.

It's a problem

I'll use these habits,

 that I learned in

 creativity class

to help me break the grasp

of resistance.

I'll use truth

to tell me

I'm good.

 Just as I am

With good friends,

with good peers

who support me in this.

I have built a village

to make me take

 these risks.

They don't just

 build me up

They'll tell me

 what is up!

When I'm wrong,

 they' ll  say boo

and it helps me.

I'll use truth

to tell me

I'm good.

Yes, I am!

My village

will help me

and make me

 take these risks

with no fear!

Come on Heather,

you are better!
