Autumn Song

Don't you love this world we're living in?

So pretty when it's dyin'

Everything changes with the view.

And don't you love falling slowly,

Falling so slow

Into love and leaves

when you can't tell if you're going up or down?

Everything feels so romantic,

A real fairytale cliche.

Can you feel the midnight magic,

trynna lead us astray?

Can't you feel the love in the air

Makin' life look fantastic with these rose colored glasses?

Why don't we all fall a little more?

Don't you love this world we're living in?

Everything's tinted with cinnamon

Nutmeg, pumpkin spice...

And all those season premiers,

Oh fall is in the air.

A mug of hot cocoa,

coffee, or tea.

We're talking fire light chatting,

s'mores and angsty teens

no one knows how to sleep.

Can't you feel the excitement?

Everything feels so romantic

And what happened to the midnight magic

tryna pull us away?

Can't you feel the love in the air,

Makin' life look fantasic?

Come on, let's fall a little more.

Let's fall deeper,

farther,

longer.

Because everything's tinted with cinnamon,

Red, orange, yellow leaves, they fall too.

Can't you just taste that sweet cinnamon?

It surrounds us all, makin us warm.

Let's fall.

Let's all fall.

Fall in love,

In leaves,

and back into old childhood things.
