Autumn Leaves

Leaves on the ground like broken dreams.

They shatter at the slightlest touch.

Such a beautiful sight, only to wither.

Kill me now, such as the leaves.

Before I break as well.

Autumn leaves die.

Trees turn to ash.

Memories fade.

People disappear.

Riddle me this:

If you can never love without heartbreak.

And you only learn to live when dying.

That you cannot turn the page without thinking-

Should you stop?

Say hello.

To the Winter breeze.

Say goodbye.

To the Autumn leaves.
