Athena

She glides through the hallway

With a swinging grace

Her piercing gray eyes

Slice through office workers

Her intricately beaded owl necklace

Bouncing against her neck

She confidently strides down the hallway

As onlookers gossip on her newfound victory

She steps into her office

And sits in her chair

As she gazes

Upon the olive branch

Delicately hung on the wall

She revels

Reliving her triumph in the election

Against Poseidon

Her victory that named her

Athena, Mayor of Athens
