Asteria's Stars

A beautiful spirit floats through the galaxy

Gazing upon swirling constellations.

She watches and ponders with ecstasy

As she recognizes each star’s relations.

Every star bigger and brighter than the last,

Symbolizing the individual.

Though each one has its own past,

Their significance to one another remains unextinguishable.

Together, they waltz around the spirit

Forming entangled circles of 300 dancing lights.

She listens in awe as she hears it–

The song of the stars, singing through endless nights.

Each star so different and perfect.

Each star its own dazzling shine.

Each star’s life wonderfully picked

To be mine. All mine.
