Around us
Around us
All around us we look, but choose not to see.
Troubled by blind spots, there willfully.
Whats there to show for every breath I invest?
Crowned king of the ashes, from the fire they set.
Around me I listen, alone and uncertain.
now heavy is my crown, and the weight of this burden.
All around us we see, but never for long.
With those that surround us, I will never belong.
Of this they make certain, that I never find peace.
When there's carrions circling, like crows to a feast.
