There once was a girl who knew everything,
A witty comeback, an intelligent review, a passing observation
All eloquently exhaled from her blood red lips.
With a transparent snap of her fingers
She could have the moon tousled down from the sky.
She was every man’s dream
And every woman’s nightmare.
An enticing vamp but an alluring elegance.
Yet inside, she was hollow and loveless.
She was always searching,
Endlessly aching to cure an ailment
Which had no magic pill nor
cure-all elixir.
Exquisitely broken was she,
Always searching
endlessly.
