Aren't We All Just Children

Aren’t we all just children

Bursting inside with joy and naïveté?

Do we ever really grow up

Even when we think we’ve found our way?

My elders say “Look how you’ve grown,”

Although I’m not much different, despite what I’ve been shown

As I age, I see, hear, develop

But in such a vast world, won’t you be enveloped?

Cause if I find the truth when I check my pride

Age aside, I’m still a child inside
