An apple a day

An apple a day to
keep me healthy you say,
Just make sure its organic,
And have two a day.
You only said one,
But better be sure,
Blend into a juice,
Pulse until ‘pure’.
Healthy is the goal in sight,
Avoid the cookies and candy with all your might.
Those family meals to wave goodbye,
For you’ll steam your meals,
With no oil you can fry.
Celebration drinks are off the cards,
Friends mean food,
An edible junkyard.
I’m on a diet,
The concerns made quiet,
Congratulations, well done,
With each pound lost,
One by one.
No junk a day,
No matter the cost.
