Apology

Sat, 12/03/2016 - 02:01 -- HPeart

I apologize

My self-consciousness is heavy

My pride is immesive

And as the years go on, my happiness has only gotten more expensive

For you, and only you.

You see, I've dyed my hair all kinds of colors and have changed my ways many times

But only because I was a shut in on the inside.

Only because I could only see my true colors

While everyone around remained color blind.

I saw that I was different and the inside was not for me

So I booked myself a ticket for to a city called Sanity

To finally find my peace of mind and all my pride

To look into the mirror within the vanity and see the man that stands in me

Just to tell him that I love him.

To tell him:

From the moment he was born he had a target on his back

Our power is immeasurable, and it strikes fear into their hearts.

They hid his power from him because they were after us from the start

And from here on out don't let anyone tear us apart.

So, I apologize

My self-consciousness is heavy

My pride is immesive

And as the years go on I will change like the moon but contain my glow

And if you can't afford me then I don't know what to tell you

because I'm never letting myself go

not again.
