The other world that so many of us believe is possible
That we call into being as we shout in the street
“We are Unstoppable, Another World is Possible!”
The world we invite each other to with that call, and every creative reimaging

What does she look like?
That Earth
The other possible world?

Arundati Roy says “. . . on a quiet day I can hear Her breathing.”
She is not only coming
She is already here
Breathing

When we are brave enough to feel her breath graze our skin and fill our lungs

The root of the word Inspiration means “to breath into”
Perhaps when we are quiet
Not only in peaceful solitude but also standing in the still eye of this storm
Her breath
That is -
The breathing of that other possible world
Can fill us

And then there is the root of the word conspire
“To breathe together”
As we do when we call her forth with our words

Perhaps she is breathing into us at the exact same moments we breathe her into being

Inspiring us
Who are conspiring on behalf of her- the other possible world
The One who is already here
