Another World

I hop into a world,

Colors and images dart by as I race

Through page by page.

Words that ebb and flow,

Pulling and pushing me in

A midnight rolling tide.

A simple book,

Changes the way I think

With every page turned.

Why can't a classroom be like a book?

Warm, inviting, imaginative; an adventure,

Daring you to take it.

Classrooms,

Filled with books

Yet no imagination grows.
