Angel on My Shoulder
An angel lives
On my shoulder
A spirit ringing
Loudly in my
Ear
A phantom fogging
In visions, prophecying
My future,
Piercing my soul
With its flaming
Eyes that foresee
My future
Cursing me for my
Sins, prophecying
Of my impending
Fate.
I try to ignore
The angel's warning,
Yet his voice booms
Of thunder, and strikes
Me with lightening
That burns me in
The Pyre
The angel's wings
Cover my eyes
With scales, from
Deceit, and I try
To break the wings
But the angel forces
A bitter scroll for me
To drink, cursing me
With a barren womb.
