And then He Made Woman

Location

close your eyes

let the white walls drown you

surround you with the inevitable

letting you fight the current

only to be pulled again

beneath her slick impenetrable surface.

And wonder

again

how worth it, it was

to be in love-

to make love

to a devil's spawn of a women

who's womanhood rivaled your own

and to be seen as unholy

when love itself is a miracle

and she-

well she is slightly more than an angel.

close your eyes

let the walls drown you

fight the current

then let it pull you

beneath her slick impenetrable surface.
