Among The Angels

My heart is light like a feather, dark like night.
Your heart is warm like a fire, brighter than the sun.
Fire and ice, I'm dark, you're light,
But if you mix it right, it can be paradise.

I don't need to go to heaven if I have you.
Anywhere is a dream if I have you.
Satan can look me in the eye, but I won't fear.
If you are by my side, we live and die.

All I know is that I love you.
I need the taste of forbidden fruit.
I've never needed something so much.
All I need is your love and your touch.

It's crazy, but I don't mind burning
If it's for you, baby.
I'd rather die than be deprived
Of all this goodness you make me feel inside.

They can break me apart,
But they'll never rip you from my heart.
I can't see, oh, it's dark.
I don't need heaven.

I don't need light if I have you.
Strike me down now if it's not true.
Heaven is a place on earth with you.
Hell is paradise if I'm looking at you.

Baby, you're hypnotizing me.
I can't take it. I'm so lonely.
Without you here, I cannot survive.
Breathing but I'm not alive.

If loving you is wrong, then I know I won't fly
Among the angels in the heavenly sky.
I'll be surrounded by the flames, burning forever
As long as you love me, as long as we're together.

I don't mind dancing in the flames
As long as I have your hand.
I don't mind feeling some pain
As long as I have you in the end.
