America, oh America

America, oh America

how great you still are

America, oh America

we have come so far

America, oh America

what is going on here

America, oh America

we are being overrun by fear

America, oh America

look at our streets

America, oh America

open-armed she greets

America, oh America

come one, come all

America, oh America

divided we will fall

America, oh America

we can come together

America, oh America

this storm we can weather

America, oh America

we can teach our youth

America, oh America

you are acting uncouth

America, oh America

this home that I love

America, oh America

we need to rise above

America, oh America

imagine no strife

America, oh America

a better quality of life

America, oh America

its all a possibility

America, oh America

we all have the culpability

America, oh America

stop placing blame

America, oh America

this hatred's a shame

America, oh America

all I am is me

America, oh America

be all you can be

America, oh America

we are destroying this land

America, oh America

we need to take a stand

America, oh America

we can coexist

America, oh America

not with a clenched fist

America, oh America

it might sound extreme

America, oh America

 but it's my dream
