Ambiguous Us

Location

Florescent lights outline the shadows

A flicker from the window gives a hint to the secrets

Behind the eyes there is movement

Unsure stirring of the mind

Unsure contemplation of the soul

What is happening behind your distant façade?

Are you dreaming?

Are you scared?

Hands shake against the counter

One small coffee

A drumming of the fingers along the rail

A small pastry to go

Just a second allows the eyes to meet

Approachment seems foolish

Approachment seems necessary

Torn between what is and what might be

What are you seeing?

Unknown, unaware, unseen

Another face, maybe another time

Goodbye my ambiguous
