Always

I always win.

No matter the game,

no matter the argument,

no matter the situation;

I always win.

No matter how hard you avoid

nor how badly you plea

the decision is up to me.

You know who I am.

Death, no.

Death is not my name.

Although, I know him very well

for he must listen to me.

Death just stops.

Death just takes.

But I can give

and I can prolong.

I am no God.

Gods are mortals to me.

I mark the last time someone

mutters their name.

Every moment their followers

grow

shrink

begin

end

is all in my command.

I am the dictator of everything.

You and your life.

Your dreams,

nightmares,

goals,

chances,

anything.

She says "I'll love again."

He says "It will only happen once."

They say "It can wait.

and you.

You say "Never."

But I am Time, and

I

Always

Win.
