Already Gone
I tried not to take time for granted
But we could all feel it sailing away
We all grasped onto each other
Terrified of graduation, moving and changing into different, unknown people
We were plunged into the violent waters of time
And there was nothing we could reach to slow us down
Now that we’re here
There’s many people I will begin to miss
It is coming so rapidly
Thank you, time, for teaching me to cherish my days
This poem is about:
Me
Our world
