Alone is Temporary
Alone is Temporary
Close the door and turn off the lights
Let the room fill with earth-shattering silence
Alone at last
The isolation fills my body
It rushes through my blood
boiling up from bottom to top
Intoxicating me as I gasp for air
I'm buried alive in loneliness
But it cannot kill me
Alone is temporary
I'm inches from the door and the light switch
I can reach out and let the light feel the open air
Alone is temporary
I am not afraid of alone
Alone is temporary
