That morning I woke up alone.  I was surprised there was no "Steve Harvey" Morning Show on the radio playing amongst the morning presense.  No "Strawbwerry Letter" with laughter in the background.  It was quiet that Wednesday, Febuary morning; but the sun shone beautifully.  I would imagine that I was hungry, because the only dinner I had the night before was my mother's soggy taco that I imagine she just couldnt force down, so I did for her.  I dont remember what I ate that morning or if I even ate, but i do remember every step i took until i stepped out the door. Opening my room door that was slightly cracked, I saw my mother's room clearly across the hall.  She was lying in bed with ger right leg slightly bent upward, but now I wonder if the wall was holding it up right to give me the illusion of life.  Glancing only for a second, I stepped into the bathroom to do my morning rituals, not thinking anothing of the silence or the emptiness of the house, but i do know for sure i sure most of all the tissue from the roll that morning.  After finishing up, I proceeded getting ready for school but first stepped into my mother's room. Death never crossed my mind that morning. Not the silence of the house, the peaceful of her sleep, nor the subtle coughing i heard the night before. I put on a stripped polo shirt and khaki pants that day for school.  Proceeding out the door, I tripped over the extending telephone cord from the phone sitting on the dinning room table and mistakenly stepped on yesterday's mail. I picked up the mail and placed it on the dinning room table, "I PUT THE MAIL ON THE TABLE," I yelled, but only to myself.  I went off to have a normal day at school, but when I came home...
