“I will.” Shame rose up.

“You need me,” he simply stated.
“Please don’t go.” Panic overwhelmed me.

“You’re worthless,” he shouted.
“I know.” Guilt-ridden.

“This is the last straw,” it came to.
“I love you,” my final breath.
