All We Have
All we have is Night
Never having a day where the sun is shining bright.
Hoping for the God abvove to relive my peoples never ending fight.
And my eyes are forever sealed from that yearning of the blessed beckon of light.
And I'm a slave, povertys slave master beaten upon my back to destroy my might.
And men now a days believe its good to be skinny and tight.
And I never get stared at right unless I'm rich or white.
All we have is Poverty
Stuffed into this low disgusting life I almost thought America threw us back into slavery.
Black women today only ask if that weaves good quality.
18 years you did not want me, now that I got money you want to be fatherly.
And I think people mistake my life because no honey its not your property.
And all my people ask for is a little white and black equality.
All we have is Violence
To many screams, crys, and gun-shots that fill the nonexistent silence.
Yeah, The gangs, hoods, and Government assistance making whites look at us if we're some fucking new addition to science.
Young girls part their bruised legs and hang on to their childhood adding to the new world tyrant.
And Poverty beats us down like slaves in some act of defiance.
All we have is unrest
Drug dealers that wont confess.
Drowning in bullets, diseases, and drugs and there are no life vests.
Judged not on your knowledge, but by your address.
And disease spreads, because the words "I love you" lead to no blood test.
No mother, no money so young children learn early the only way to make it is to undress.
Standing on corners, and dancing on poles is how we express
No lights, water, or energy to fight the stress.
And its more than 250 years we've been oppressed.
And nomore fear and no more children for this cold world to molest.
And no more locks, and chains to leave my mind, body, soul, and people repressed.
Because all I have left to fight for is my success.
