Philippians 3:9 

 

9 and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own righteousness 

through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through Faith in Christ.

 For God’s Way of making us right with Himself depends on faith.

 

Honor

 

To honor me? "A failure".

To lift me up on high

into men's admiration

while I can't even fly.           

 

To say that I'm better

than the average Joe.

To even think it matters,

to say you're con or pro

 

There is one truth prevailing

and to understand or not,

is what God thinks about it

or my life is pure or spot

 

Jesus shows me to be a failure,

without Him … "like it or not",

so I turned to Him for guidance

and He removed that awful blot.

 

So to honor me ! "A failure" or

like a hero … while on this clod.

Is just fine with me in Jesus

or you like it or not.
