Thrown to the ground in a repeated pattern, bruised, cut, and battered I am, but unbroken I stand, ready to go through it all again, ready to walk through hell again, I'll endure the blistering heat that comes with the touch of fire, the chocking strangling feeling that comes with the smoke laden atmosphere, like a fog it surrounds me, trying to make me lose my way, to lead me away from my final destination, promising me that it will be better if I just go back the way I came, if I just went back to where I was, a man with no mission, no reason to keep going nothing to motivate him to succeed, nothing to drive him, it seemed nothing could get his blood pumping, that nothing could get his heart racing, but then she came along my saving grace, a Valkyrie sent from the halls of Valhalla to bring this cold soul back from the frigid  grip of death, she stood with him, eventually became the sun to his moon, polar opposites in every way but, they could not live without the other so they walked the road together, never left each other's side, hand in hand, living the lovers life until the day it all came crumbling down, the foundation of the house they built for each other  that they shared had been torn into, having been separated, torn away leaving me to walk this road alone once again until I can find her again to reunite with the angel that brought me back from the grave, the one that saved me, this is my chance to return the favor, and be her savior that is why I'm willing to endure the pain that comes with the touch of flames that is why I stand bruised and battered, but my resolve, to carry out my mission, remains the same, not a crack nor even microscopic fracture can found in my determination to see this till the end to see the fruits of my labor, whether it was worth all the trials and tribulations, to see if I can still save her, be the angel that she was to me, to be her savior that she was for me, if I endured all the cuts, bruises and burns, all the pain I went through, if all the pain and refusing endless temptations was the right choice,  to be there for her, so we can walk side by side, travel hand in hand, and enjoy the lovers life once again, so we can build the house back up from the ground and live our happy, lovers life again, thats why I endured the pain, why I rolled with the punches, suffered the cuts and slashes with a smile, that is why I am more than happy to recieve the burns that came with the touch of the fire's fury, so I could be with her again, so I could see the beautiful face of the one I hold all my love and admiration, for the one that pulled me from the grave, I endured this so I could be with the sun to my moon, the light that chases away the shadows when they try to snuff me out, I endure this for you, I suffered through it all, for you because your the love of my life, your the sun that chases away the night, you shine so bright that all i can think about is just how beuitiful you really are, so that is why I'm happy to deal with all the scars, and burns that come with the journey I must take to be with you, I'll do anything it takes to see you again, to see your smile once again.
