All Alone

On your own
By yourself
You are your own company
Everyone’s felt this before
You know it’s true
It’s happened to me,
It’s happened to you
All at the same time,
We’re all alone
Feeling lost in this huge world
Small fish in a big pond
Floating through life
Without a companion
Without a friend to lean on
No sidekick
No reinforcements
We all are
Think about it
Everyone’s unique
So everyone’s alone
The pessimist’s perspective
One of many
But it must be seen
But consider this
It everyone is alone,
Then aren’t we all together?
