Aging gracefully ...

Aging gracefully

Titus 2:2

Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled,

sound in faith, in love, and in endurance.

Please don’t take advantage … I am oh so weak

I am just a flower in some fertile ground

I never had a fight with the surrounding weeds

I was always cared for the moment I was found

I came to bring some beauty … some purity of sorts

Nothing very special … just the way I was formed

I can’t see myself … I have no good report

In thinking who I am and how I am adored

Maybe others see me the way I really can’t

Maybe God Who made me smiles upon my fright

So it always seems in a search of who I am

As seldom in a moment I seem to get things right
