Aging

Ecclesiastes 4:13 New English Translation (NET Bible)

Labor Motivated by Prestige Seeking

13 A poor but wise youth is better than an old and foolish king
who no longer knows how to receive advice.

Aging

We had to grow up. There was no other choice.

At times it seemed unfair to change the dimension

With little follow-up and uncertainty in voice

It seemed that few cared, indifference, not to mention

Are we slowly growing older as the mind depletes?

Are we slowing down at a pace like growing up?

To be filed in a folder marked: "Always trying to cheat".

As we lost another round without ever getting up?

We are now to be inserted by many other folders

Somewhere in a dark room marked: "Over the hill."

Where in any case, none will now scream or holler:

"Where is this place of gloom" where experience kills?
