From a tender young age

          we are told to

                                       respect our elders 

By our elders

 

So from what age 

        have we finally inherited

                                             respect?

Just because we are young
    does not mean

you can treat us like dirt

 

Just because we are young
     does not mean

we cannot speak

 

Just because we are young
     does not mean

we will not stand for anything

 

 

 

YOUNG DOES NOT MEAN

                                                   stupid

So who but us 

      is going to tell  them

                                   

              respect our youth?
