Of Age

You strode through a gallery

That was your hometown

And reminisced a lifetime

Too gray to be yours

You sat beside an old love story

That still occupied a park bench

Its bygone song hummed by a tree

Who had long forgotten the words

In a youth's laugh

You heard your own

From a memory ago

When now seemed like never

How life's endless end

Has made a moment of us all
