The Aftermath

Wed, 04/29/2020 - 13:55 -- enina

It was rushing back

No one present

The familiar, remembered places

Places in ruins

Gone

All of it gone, the man said

We killed millions

We destroyed everything

Like the fools that we were and the fools that we are

Now I’ve come to ask you

Don’t shut us out

Help us go on

At this time
