ADOLESCENCE

All the adults think that their kids are just
Dying to get
Older,
Leave their childhood far away
End the Legos and playdates, leave
School hoping to get paid. Buy their first
Car second-hand, don't care about taxes or rent, but
Even though we're growing old,
Nothing really
Changes, we still need help,
Encouragement, could someone please just save us
