Take your caring heart

And mend your own soul.

Look at them, you’ve done your part.

You’ve taken it on as your role,

Mending everyone from the start

And mothering them, your dole.

They have your pressure points on a chart

With a list of all your time they stole.

So, darling, take your daring heart

And tend to your own soul.
