Acceptance

With a world so bleak, I must accept I won't receive equal pay. I must accept discrimination because of the color of my skin. I must accept the stigma of being a perfect size. I must accept some men cheat, and others even lie. I must accept that the lights will never be free. I must accept my breath could be stopped by one last chop of a tree. I must accept those with four legs may have more rights than me.I must accept my body but never my choice. I must accept my sexuality no longer a personal right. I guess the word accept redefines acceptance.
