ACCEPTANCE©

Glenn Johnson

Today longing burst into the blooming of acceptance.

For how many eons . . . into how many worlds

                                                         rotating . . .

                                                   coursing . . .

have I searched universe’s limitless space?

My elusive secret . . .

                  universe incessantly heralded:  Acceptance.

Acceptance sang the earth . . .

as it was reborn time and time again . . .

                          season after season after season.

Acceptance the waters' dance rained now flowed . . .

                                                        to rest . . .

                                            to evaporate . . .

                                                  to rain . . .

                                        again . . . again . . . again.

Acceptance’s harmonic choir  . . .

                                        planets . . .

                                     stars . . .

                                 suns . . .

                          singing without question . .

as they turned and swept . . .

                                                    on ancient paths . . .

endlessly sharing life with a searcher I.

I will to accept . . . like all of life . . . I am dying . . .

                                                             being reborn . . .

                                                           again . . .

                                                                 again . . .

                                                                       again.

I too am traveling . . . my life . . . an ancient path.

I too am exactly who I should be . . .

                                                    whenever . . .

                                              wherever . . . I am.

                                                        I am too.

                                                  . . . I am . . .
