The dog is in the corner of the room
Doesn’t know what he did wrong
His owner holds a belt
Ready to leave a welt
Smack…smack…smack goes the belt
No one is around to stop it
The dog squeals in pain
In agony
But does the owner care
No
Then the poor dog is chained to a post outside
No food
No water
What a horror
Why does this happen?
Is the owner aware of the pain?
Or is the owner too blind by rage to see?
It’s a new day
A new time
A new age
It’s time we all step up and make this abuse known
In every way possible
Step up and let someone know they are wrong and there are better ways to handle animals
Come to the animals rescue
