Are we stuck in a lie

   Between one love and much hate?

      Suppose we give rules a change, maybe then they'll be straight.

   Over time we will grow to hate the rules we have changed, but

Let us not forget The One who changed the rules for our gain.

   Under Heaven we'll stay till that glorious day when

      The sins of our past will forever be erased.

   In my heart i'll always say "Absolution, have your way"

Over all the thoughts i'll ever have, let

  Not one of them lead me astray
