About a Friend

Location

Knowing he is doing this
Makes my body go numb
I have no thoughts, or fists
Just sit around and hum

Try to make peace at mind
And believe he'll be okay
In the outcome of this bind
That he found his own way

Into this mess of life
And it hurts me to know
About this strife
Never knowing it would feel so low.

I wish I could help him
Through this process
Before he falls from his limb
Not having to live life thoughtless.

No matter the circumstance
He's a friend at heart;
I'll always go back n' glance,
At the bond that was created from the start.
