Abiss

A wall, a wall with a hole so deep, so dark, the depths could never be known.

A road, a road never traveled, nor will it ever be.

An animal, lonessome and mateless, never to find his own.

This is the emptiness left in my heart.  A whole in my heart, never toagain be traveled. Never to find his own.

A summer day, the sweet smell of fresh cut grass and flowers in full bloom.

A light, more powerful than any darkness this world could bring about.

A rock, stronger than any substance in this world, a cornerstone.

This is what you have taken from me.  The sweet smell of you in the air, my light through my darkest times, my rock holding me together and my foundation.

If only you knew the emptiness inside me today, maybe then you wouldn't have thrown it away.
