Abandoned

What if I can't sleep at night?
Will you stay
And hold me tight?
Or will I have to fight for my life
In this world that thrives without any light?

You tell me stories of this beautiful world.
I guess you've seen it for yourself.
You paint these pictures of warmth and color
How can I follow these invisible steps?
I know nothing of something with glorious wealth
Or anything that would resemble your "Summer".

I desperately try to hold on to the spider's thread
You are my light,
You make this dark world bright
And kept me when I was left by the ones i thought loved me instead.
But now...

I never sleep at night.
You never held me tight.
The monsters you saved me from...
I became one of them.

Sorry
.
.
.

And goodbye
