96 Degrees

My island is what you may say as awesome,

I live on a giant rock with water all around.

The weather stays at 99, don't make me frown.

But the locals are alive like a red cherry blossom.

No its not that city, what’s it called? Bikini Bottom?

The water is clear that even the blind can see,

We share the road with horses, you should drive carefully.

You can walk on the sand and let the water touch your toes,

The scent of the ocean will never leave your nose

A sensation you can't feel no other place,

Especially not in a city, wow that's a disgrace.

An historical site with history all around.

The great Fire Burn in 1876, all the slaves ran around,

And nearly set the whole island to burn to the ground.

Until emancipation set us free at last,

We came a long way but keep that in the past.

My island is awesome, my island is great,

Hop on a plane and take a vacation.

Oops I forgot to give the location?

Wayyy south from that place named Iceland.

Come take a trip to the US Virgin Islands!
