No superman to save the day,
No Spider-man to chase the bad away.
Just a man in red chalked grey,
To rescue those left at bay.
Destruction and death at every glance,
Racing to give someone a second chance.
Up the towers they climbed and climbed,
Unwilling to leave, no man left behind.
Even when the towers were gone,
The men kept searching, on and on.
About 3000 people were lost that day,
And their memories live on to this very today.
