4 AM Fiasco

I waited for the clock on my nightstand to turn 12

Impatient I sneak out of bed

Smiling at the fact

I went to bed in jeans and a Sweatshirt

I tip-toe to my door

And quietly as possible

I pull it open

Cursing my luck as it squeaks

And listening to see if anyone is awake

I breathe a sigh of relief

No apparent foot steps

I have made my escape

From the moment I put my car in neutral

I was bound to be a fried noodle

As I doodled my way over

I was craving a strudel

But then it got devoured by her darn poodle

Walked into the crib in the nighttime skies

Quiet & Sly

All too Netflix & Chill

Tired & Pleasantly Orange

Hours and hours flew by

Like a beautiful butterfly

Suddenly as I awoke

I checked my phone

5:13AM, 13 Missed Calls

A DURRRRR

POLICE, HELICOPTERS, DOGS, CATS, LIZARDS, POODLES

You name it

Suspense travelling through my body

My heart rate grew notoriously

Putting on my shoes

And seeing nothing but troubled views...
