21st Century Fish Wish

Oh Ariel, Ariel,

Dancing, singing, holding your fork

Your “love” Eric is such a dork

You perceive him as oh so sweet

He views you as a just another female feat

What if you truly never wowed him

But it is too late, you already vowed to him your all;

could you imagine if he is not there when your feet fall?

Instead he is in the minds of other girls

He is becoming part of their worlds

Their stomachs and minds swirl and swish

As you break your beautiful human dish,

you regret not using your one wish to become nothing more than a flounder

At least then it would make sense to swim with the fish
