1st thoughts waiting

Ecclesiastes 11:6

In the morning sow your seed,
And in the evening do not withhold your hand;
For you do not know which will prosper,
Either this or that,
Or whether both alike will be good.

Waking

Waking in the morning ... the 1st thought that bothers

has always folk involved ... mostly imperfect

I seem to fit right in ... being judgmental

it seems that darkness won’t let me forget it

Could I wake up with self-satisfaction?

Is it possible to have peace in the flesh?

Would that really not be a real contradiction

as the flesh can reach but little good at best?

Is it real or fiction ... the sleep we enjoy?

Is not peaceful rest a state of good conscience?

Is it not a gift to all ... in life to rejoice

as awake or asleep we embrace obedience?

What we need is what we get ... why wanting more?

Why does or greed outweigh the base of satisfaction?

Why does the cup of desire ... has emptiness in its core?

Is not the form of self-hate ... our greatest distraction?

If we are not filled with love ... is the missing part not hate?

There is no straddling the fence... one is for or against the Lord.

A mixture of black and white ... turns the world into grey

there to be called purity ... by a majority in accord.
